In order to begin using your Loula account, you first need to complete our identity verification process, which is often referred as "Know Your Customer" (KYC) from the regulations that created the legal basis for financial products to approve customers to transact.

Do not worry though, it is very simple to pass verification with Loula!

​Step 1:

Once you have created your account and you are logged in, you can launch the verification process by tapping on "Verify Your Identity"

This will take you to the Profile Page, where you can tap on "Start" to begin the process.

Step 2:

A verification dialog will pop up from Persona, our partner for identity verification.

You will need to tap on "Begin Verifying" and have a valid ID or Passport to scan, as well as a well-lit room in which to capture a picture of yourself.

Step 3:

Indicate the country for your ID and then choose a type for the pictures you plan to capture and upload.

Step 4:

Be sure to tap "Allow" in order to provide camera access for the purpose of capturing your identity verification images.

After this, you will be able to capture your Photo ID from the front and back following in-app guidelines.

​Step 5:

Tap on "Get Started" and follow the guidelines to capture images from yourself, tilting your head to the left and right, as shown below:

And that's it! If everything looks good, we should be approving you swiftly. Otherwise, feel free to let us know if you run into any trouble.
