Why were my funds returned?

If you transferred funds to your Loula account, but received them back, it may be due to regulations and account ownership issues

By law and in compliance with existing regulations, we are able to process transfers into your account that originate from sources in your name.

If you made a transfer to your Loula account, but the funds were returned, it is most likely because you transferred from a bank account that was not in your name.

This is particularly the case when transferring Argentinean Pesos (ARS) to your Loula account: you need to make sure you are sending from an account you own, otherwise the transfer will be rejected and your funds will be returned to the originating account.
